SAN DIEGO – Nov. 9, 2009 – On Nov. 12, the National Association of Realtors® will unveil a new consumer Web site – HouseLogic – designed to help homeowners protect, maintain and enhance the value of their home. NAR designed the site to be a go-to resource for homeowners who want to make smart decisions about their largest investment. The launch will coincide with NAR’s Annual Conference and Expo in San Diego.

When the site launches, Realtors will find special business-building tools, such as free ready-to-use information for their Web sites, blogs and newsletters, available to them at Houselogic.com/members. The content that the site provides for Realtors is designed to help them continue meaningful communication with their clients after the sale.

NAR developed the HouseLogic site to provide homeowners with a smart, simple resource to help them manage their homes wisely and to help Realtors extend their relationship with consumers through the entire lifecycle of homeownership.

The site will also allow encourage homeowners to contact their federal legislators, along with Realtors, on public policy issues when homeowners and the real estate industry have a common interest.

The HouseLogic site will be promoted to consumers in earnest starting in February 2010. Until that time, the site is in beta and being promoted primarily to the Realtors community, giving NAR members the opportunity to explore the site.
